URLivo: URL & Stream Player Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Kodatix Apps ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the URLivo: URL & Stream Player Android application (package name: com.app.urlivoplayer) (the "App"). Please read this policy carefully. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. About the App

URLivo is a media player that allows users to play direct stream URLs, M3U playlists, and Xtream-compatible sources that users provide themselves. The App does not host, provide, sell, distribute, or promote any channels, playlists, subscriptions, or media content, and it contains no preloaded streaming services or media libraries. Users are solely responsible for the legality and authorization of any content or source they add.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App is designed to store the following data locally on your device (not on our servers, unless stated otherwise below):

• Saved stream URLs, M3U playlists, and Xtream source configurations you add
• Favorite channels/streams
• Recent playback history
• App preferences (e.g., theme selection, language settings)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Through AdMob, certain data may be automatically collected for ad-serving, measurement, and fraud-prevention purposes, which may include:

• Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID)
• IP address and approximate location
• Device information (model, operating system version, language, network type)
• App interaction and ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

2.3 Information You Provide Directly

• Support/contact emails you send to us (see Section 9), which may include your email address and any information you choose to share.

2.4 Sensitive Information

The App does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., financial data, health data, precise geolocation) directly. However, third-party ad services may infer approximate location from IP address.

3. Advertising

The App is ad-supported and displays advertisements using Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC.

• AdMob may use device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID) and other data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
• You can control ad personalization through your device's advertising settings (e.g., Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization on Android) or by resetting your Advertising ID.
• Google's use of advertising data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and, where applicable, Google's Partner Policy.

4. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email address in Section 9 so we can take appropriate action.

5. Data Retention

• Locally stored data (playlists, favorites, history, settings) remains on your device until you delete it manually or uninstall the App.
• Advertising-related data collected via AdMob is retained and processed by Google according to Google's own retention policies. We do not control this retention period.
• Support emails sent to us are retained for as long as necessary to respond to and resolve your inquiry.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• To manage advertising identifiers, use your device's ad settings as described in Section 3.
• To delete locally stored app data (playlists, favorites, history), clear the App's data/cache via Android Settings, or uninstall the App.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information within our control. Since most App data is stored locally on your device, its security also depends on your device's security settings (e.g., lock screen, OS updates, permissions granted to other apps).

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Own Content and Sources

URLivo does not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for any stream URLs, M3U playlists, or Xtream sources you add to the App. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right or authorization to access and use any content or source added to the App. We do not collect or have access to the content of the streams you play, only to the metadata you choose to save locally (e.g., URL, name) as described in Section 2.1.

10. International Data Transfers

If any data is processed by third-party services such as Google AdMob, such data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's functionality, legal requirements, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
