This Privacy Policy explains how TetherPRO: Proxy Hotspot Share ("TetherPRO," "the App," "we," "us," or "our"), published by Kodatix Apps, handles information when you use the App. TetherPRO helps users share a VPN or proxy connection with other devices through local tethering and network proxy features.

TetherPRO is designed to work without requiring you to create an account or provide personal registration details. However, depending on how the App is used and configured on your device, it may collect the following types of information:

• Device information – such as device model, operating system version, and app version, used for compatibility and troubleshooting.

Any information collected by TetherPRO is used to:

• Provide and maintain the core tethering/proxy sharing functionality.
• Keep the sharing service running reliably while in use.

Permissions Used

TetherPRO may request or use the following Android permissions:

• Foreground service – Used to keep the proxy/tethering service running while the user enables sharing.

• Foreground service connected device – Used because the app transfers network data to connected devices.
• Ignore battery optimizations – May be requested so sharing can continue reliably in the background.
• Wake lock – Used to help keep the sharing service active while running.
• Vibration – Used for simple feedback or alerts.

These permissions are used solely to support the App's stated functionality and are not used to collect information beyond what is described in this policy.

Foreground Service Usage

TetherPRO uses a foreground service, along with a persistent notification, to keep the proxy/tethering sharing feature active while you are using it. This is required by Android so that the system and you, the user, are aware that network sharing is actively running in the background. The foreground service stops sharing network data once you disable the sharing feature or close the App.

Ads and Third-Party Services

TetherPRO does not currently display advertising. However, the App may integrate Google Play services and related Google infrastructure to support core functionality, security, and performance.

If advertising is introduced in a future version of the App, this policy will be updated to disclose the use of advertising networks (such as Google AdMob), the data such networks may collect (including advertising identifiers), and how users can manage their ad preferences. Any such update will be reflected in the "Changes to This Policy" section below, together with a new effective date.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Information collected by the App may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• With service providers (such as Google Play services) that help operate, secure, or analyze the App, under their own privacy and data protection terms.
• If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Kodatix Apps, our users, or the public.

Data Retention

We retain diagnostic, crash, and network-related information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, such as troubleshooting, improving app stability, or complying with legal obligations. Data processed by third-party services (such as Google Play services) is retained according to those providers' own retention policies, over which we do not have direct control.

Because the App does not require account registration, we do not maintain a persistent user profile tied to your identity, and any locally generated configuration data stays on your device unless you choose to clear or uninstall the App.

Children's Privacy

TetherPRO is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by applicable local law). If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child in violation of this policy, we will take steps to delete such information. User Choices

You have the following choices regarding your information:

• Permissions – You can review and manage permissions granted to TetherPRO at any time through your device's Settings app.

• Advertising identifiers – You may reset or limit ad tracking through your device's Google Settings, where supported.
• Uninstalling the App – You may uninstall TetherPRO at any time, which will remove locally stored app data from your device.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by TetherPRO from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
